With its modular structure, the R/3 system enables a complete overview of operational company processes. The modules represent comprehensive solutions for each of the well-defined company divisions.

On a technical level, the R/3 system is divided into three layers that are normally found on various computers:

• Data management in a standard relational database

• Data processing and preparation in a R/3 application server (the core of the R/3 system)

• Import and export of data via a SAPGUI graphic client

We were one of the first to carry out the release change from SAP BW 3.0 to 3.5 and migrate OS DB from AIX Oracle to the BW 3.0 system's UNIX Oracle. The database holds an impressive 2.5 Terabyte.
